Dehydration is the drying of foods to remove water, leaving all other nutrients intact & highly concentrated. This is one of the oldest and gentlest ways to preserve food & effectively prevents the growth of bacteria, yeast & molds resulting in a treat with an extremely long shelf life & no need for unhealthy preservatives. All Kristi’s Kitchen treats are safe & natural. A small amount of olive oil (hypoallergenic) is used in preparation.
